NEUROTOXIN | FILLERS

Avoid anti-inflammatory / blood thinning medications for 2 weeks. Medications and supplements such as Aspirin, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDs all cause thinning of the blood and can increase the risk of bruising/swelling after injections. Do not stop blood thinning medications without consulting your doctor.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before or after your treatment to avoid extra bruising.
Tox: Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
Filler: Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, for 7 days prior to treatment.
Dermal fillers must not be administered if you have had any vaccines, immunizations, procedures, illnesses, or dental work in the past 4 weeks and for an additional 4 weeks after fillers.

Avoid exercise, alcohol, saunas, steam rooms, and heat exposure for 24 hours.
Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to treated areas for at least 6 hours.
Do not schedule facials, massages, or other skin treatments for 2 weeks.
Mild swelling, bruising, tenderness, and small lumps are normal and temporary.
Cold compresses may be used for comfort (avoid direct pressure).
Tox: Full results typically develop by 2 weeks.
Tox: Muscle movement will gradually return over 3–4 months; results last longer with consistent treatments.
Filler: Results are immediate; full settling occurs in 1–2 weeks.
Filler: Avoid tretinoin/Retin-A, retinol, AHAs/BHAs, glycolic acid, and exfoliants for 24–48 hours.
Filler: A 2–4 week follow-up may be recommended for refinement.
Hydrafacial Pre + Post Care

Arrive at your appointment with cleansed skin (no lotion/perfume) and area freshly shaved.
Do not get any Botox or Fillers for 2 weeks prior to your facial treatment. You may get Botox or Fillers the same day after your facial treatment if you desire.
Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 3-5 days prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid for 7 days prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of Isotretinoins such as Accutane for 6 months.
Refrain from waxing and use of depilatories for 48 hrs prior to treatment.
If you are prone to cold sores, we recommend you begin your anti-viral medication (Valtrex) the day before treatment. Clients with active cold sores will not be treated.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment and 24 hours after your treatment.

You may resume normal skin care regimen 2 days after treatment. If skin still feels irritated, test spot your skin care products first.
Do NOT use any type of glycolic acid, exfoliation products, chemical hair services, tweezing, waxing, use hair removal products, lighteners, Accutane®, AHA, topical vitamin A, including Retin A®, Differin®, tretinoin, retinol, Benzoyl Peroxide, astringents or glycolics for at least 2 days afterwards.
AVOID sun exposure as much as possible. Use a high factor sunscreen (> SPF 30) and protect the treated area from sunlight for at least one week after the treatment.
Make-up may be applied post treatment.

After treatment, your skin may appear slightly reddened which subsides rather quickly. Mild swelling may occur. Discomfort comparable to a mild sunburn is common.
To minimize the post-procedural inflammation, it is recommended to cool the treated area with cold (not frozen) packs.
After treatment, nothing topical should be applied for at least 4 hours.
Mineral makeup or light moisturizer may be used on the treated area after 4 hours, as long as the skin is not broken, blistered, or irritated.
Wash area with tepid water and mild soap, pat dry, do not rub. Use mild cleansers or soaps without perfumes, acids, and avoid washcloths and harsh cleansers until all transient healing processes have resolved naturally. Moisturize skin after cleansing.
Continue to hydrate by drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day for the next 7 days.
Beginning the following morning; apply the recommended at home post care products.
Peeling and skin sloughing may occur for several days after treatment.

Discontinue use of OTC acne medications (Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic) for for 2-3 days prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid for 7 days prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of Isotretinoins such as Accutane for 6 months.
The treatment area must be free of any open lesions or infections.

Stay cool! Heating internally or externally can cause hyperpigmentation.

Laser Hair Removal Pre + Post Care

Shave within 24 hours before your appointment. If you arrive unshaven, you will incur a shaving fee or in some cases be rejected for treatment. Please note, shaving the day of treatment may result in irritation from your treatment.
Do not apply any creams, deodorant, etc in the treatment site prior to coming for your treatment.
No waxing, tweezing, threading, epilating for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Do not use hair removal lotions for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
No sun tanning, tanning beds or spray tanning 2 weeks before or after your appointment.
Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment.

Blistered or ulcerated skin can be treated with a prescribed antibiotic ointment or burn treatment cream.

Chemical Peel Pre + Post Care

Shaving: If needed, shave at least 24 hours before your appointment. Shaving on the same day may cause irritation. Please arrive shaved, as shaving cannot be performed in-office.
Skin products: Do not apply creams, lotions, deodorant, or other topical products to the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
Hair removal: Avoid waxing, tweezing, threading, epilating, or using hair removal creams for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Sun exposure: No sunbathing, tanning beds, or spray tans for at least 2 weeks before and after your peel.
Topical products: Discontinue the use of retinoids, exfoliating acids, or any other potentially irritating skincare products for 2–3 days prior to treatment.

Follow your provider’s instructions: Carefully follow all post-care directions and use only the products provided or recommended at your appointment. This is essential for proper healing and best results.
Cleansing: Gently wash with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. Pat dry — do not rub.
Heat exposure: Avoid hot water, saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise for at least 48 hours.
Skin care: Only use the post-peel kit provided (or products recommended by your provider). Do not pick, scratch, or peel off flaking skin.
Irritation: If blistering or open areas occur, contact your provider.
Sun protection: Avoid direct sun exposure throughout your peel process. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ daily and reapply as needed. Sun exposure may cause hyperpigmentation.
Hair removal: Do not wax, thread, or use depilatories until your skin has fully healed.
Makeup: May be applied once peeling has subsided and there is no blistering or open skin.
